Using Sales Assembly Alongside a Methodology (Challenger)
The Initial Need
While we already had an enablement function and a curriculum internally and were actively exploring launching with Challenger at the time, we knew we wanted an additional outside resource to supplement our own efforts and focus on core, fundamental skills and career development. Our desire was to implement something that was both turnkey, and complimentary to everything we already had going on. Sales Assembly fit the bill!
How Sales Assembly is Being Used
We use it much the same today as we did when we signed up way back in 2017 – people take advantage of the ongoing programs offered through Sales Assembly to grow themselves, and supplement their learning. It serves as an “always-on” resource to help with core, fundamental skill development, in conjunction with our work with Challenger, and our own internal curriculum. In particular our Sales Dev teams, sales managers and CSMs take advantage of Sales Assembly the most.
Overall Sentiment
The best thing we’ve seen is probably on the manager side for Sales & Success roles. In particular, it’s helped our managers understand what their peers are going through and what is expected of them in adjusting from an IC to a manager role in Sales & Success. A great intangible is that Sales Assembly also provides good energy / inspiration for our teams, due to the community and peer component.
