PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Sales Assembly’s Rising Account Executive Certification Program educates participants on fundamental skills that all Account Executive professionals need to master in order to be effective in their role.
This certification includes a comprehensive, one-day virtual training of classroom-style learning and strategic breakout rooms. A unique benefit of this certification involves ongoing continuing education requirements through various Sales Assembly programs.
To receive their certification, individuals must participate in all 4 modules and attend the full day of training.
SCHEDULE
- Prospecting by Jason Bay. Learning how to kick off your funnel is a skill that will carry you throughout your career. This module covers each aspect and the various types of prospecting.
- Discovery by Jen Allen. Discovery is more than a set of questions; it’s the way to truly identify a proper product and customer fit and ensure your solution hits the mark, both now and in the future. This module discusses the psychology behind a proper and effective discovery.
- Pipeline Fiction by Christina Brady. Deals that carry over month over month in your pipeline are problematic. Often, deals stay in your pipeline that are unqualified or hidden no’s. This module discusses how to identify deals that have a low likelihood of closing, and how to avoid clogging your pipeline and wasting time on non-opportunities.
- Objection Handling by Jeff Bajorek. Objection handling, when done incorrectly, often results in raised emotions, or losing a deal. This module breaks down how to navigate questions, concerns, objections, and emotional peaks within your sales process.

This program is open to all employees of SA member companies who are currently in an AE role or are interested in transitioning into an AE role.
